INDJSTIONE

Indjstione is a dj and turntablist from Romania.While he doesn’t feel his abilities stand out in an age where anybody with a laptop can create music he does his very best to hone his craft. He was only a music listener until the age of 22, when he started writing some rhymes to instrumentals. He continued experimenting in the musical field which lead him to buy a set of turntables and mixer. For unknown reasons, people enjoyed the skills he had picked up on the Technics so he kept practicing. The rigorous practice had paid off and he now finds himself playing at some of Romania’s great parties for Funky Jazzy Broken Beats, Hip Hop flava, Dancefloor Grooves and bass oriented electronic music.

After acting like a clown (electroclown) on Cluj musical scene for 18 years, honing his craft of intuitive flow on dancefloors, festivals and at house parties everywhere, he decides to embrace the idea of DJING more soulful and playing long trip-like kind of sets, oferring a colorful musical experience.

The sets he plays are influenced by tribal and folkloric sounds from around the world, mixed with the full spectrum of electronic music styles.

The feeling on the dance floor is spacious and grounding, compelling melodies, strong and earthy beats. Dance journey's with a deep flow and some unexpected twists and turns, juggling with samples, loops and playing traditional instruments from diffrent cultures. Dancers experience a deep blissful quality by the dance experience and the feelings that are being touched, while coming to the surface and being released give space to directly experience a freedom and being fully present. 

You can find yourself on a island or on the top of a mountain.
